We had a 'London Cypriot' working with us for a while and we always sent him to go and buy things from suppliers. If you are not Cypriot then you pay the full price but he would always negotiate discounts for us. It was a great shame when he left because we are back to paying the full price again. Dave

I would say so! That is exactly the sort of thing I mean. I am sure it is much widerspread. Never mind. Yes there are places offer 5/10% if you live here or for early orders, it is the under-the-counter stuff - like that Jason -  that is out of order.

I have heard that The Swan Irish Bar 'looks after the Cypriot locals' who use the bar, with double measures of imported spirits while tourists only get a single measure of the local cheap stuff. That was told to a group of us by a chap who actually worked at the bar. I think that might constitute double pricing!
