Dual Pricing | Forum

Most of us have probably heard "bar talk" about different prices for the cyps than the tourists or expats. It is even mentioned in the local press occasionally. Does anyone have any real hard evidence of this happening? Not gossip - fact? I would like to think that as a pretty sociable and above average all year round spender it might hap...

I have just heard today of a Brit - independent traveller - who wanted to change hisCyprus Airways flight to 7 days later. He was told it would cost 100 euros. Cypriot hotel owner, well known in Kato Paphos - went to see Cypus Airways, and lo & behold, flight changed - NO COST!

I agree with you paphosmike, the people who have contributed to their new found wealth are being treated as second class. Now that the recession is really biting I wonder if they may change their attitude and go back to the original style of being very friendly and generous - which was always a winner and helped place them on the world map.
